Juan D. Espinosa is the Vice President and Co-Founder of E&S Insurance, an independent insurance agency he founded with his father, Neftalí Espinosa, in 2004. For more than 20 years, Juan has been dedicated to helping individuals, families, and businesses protect what matters most through customized insurance and risk management solutions.
As Vice President, Juan leads the agency's strategic growth, business development, and operations while mentoring a talented team of insurance professionals committed to delivering exceptional client service. He believes insurance is more than a policy, it's about understanding each client's unique risks and providing guidance that helps them make informed decisions with confidence.
Juan holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Finance, an Executive MBA from Florida Gulf Coast University, and a Master of Science in Enterprise Risk Management from Columbia University. He also serves as a part-time faculty member at Columbia University, where he teaches Insurance Risk Management to graduate students, bringing real-world industry experience into the classroom.
Outside of work, Juan enjoys spending time with his wife, Juliana, and their three children, Olivia, Isabel, and Nicolas. He is passionate about soccer, running, cycling, golf, pickleball, traveling, and experiencing new cultures and cuisines. Whether serving clients, leading his team, or teaching future risk management professionals, Juan is committed to lifelong learning, excellence, and making a positive impact in the lives of those around him.
